- Your local Area Agency on Aging is a great resource to locate services for seniors. Every part of the state is covered by an AAA. Programs such as meals-on-wheels, congregate meals, assistance with housing needs, managing healthcare, remaining independent in your own home, and in home services are just some of the services that the AAAs offers. They may also be able to assist with coordinating rides to the grocery store and the doctor’s office. The AAA is a great resource for referrals to community programs for older adults in your area.
To contact the AAA office in your area, call the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116 or click here.
